Lancaster County House Fire Victim Identified as Diane Bloodworth

The Lancaster County Coroner's Office has identified the victim of a deadly house fire in Manor Township as 64-year-old Diane Bloodworth. The tragic incident occurred on Thursday (January 8) when a fire broke out at a residence on Redwood Drive. Firefighters discovered Bloodworth's remains on the upper level of the building, which was a garage with two apartment units above it.

According to WGAL, the coroner identified Bloodworth using dental records. The cause of death was determined to be smoke inhalation and thermal burns, and it has been ruled accidental. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene around 1 p.m. and managed to control the blaze within approximately 40 minutes.

The LancasterOnline reports that the Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, but no details about the origin have been released yet. Manor Township police confirmed that the fire occurred in a structure with two apartment units situated above a garage.

As the investigation continues, authorities have not provided any further updates. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
